NEW YORK - Slavni Porsche kabriolet legendarne rock pjevačice Janis Joplin prodan je u četvrtak u New Yorku za gotovo 1,8 milijuna dolara, što je rekord u prodaji na dražbi za takav model vozila, objavio je Sotheby's.

Cijene su rasle u zadnjih 5 minuta i Porsche je prodan za 1,76 milijuna dolara. Riječje o modelu iz 1964., a prepoznatljiv je po šarenim psihodeličnim slikama.

Početna cijena bila je 300.000 dolara.

Model 356C 1600 Cabriolet oslikan je leptirima i meduzama i svjedok je vremena pop kulture i društvenih pokreta 60-ih godina.

Janis Joplin je puno vozila taj automobil koji je bio parkiran pred holivudskim hotelom gdje je umrla od predoziranja heroinom 1970.
